Thangal Para

Thangal Para is located at a distance of just 5 km from Vagamon. It is a religious place related to Muslim religion. This holy place holds a Durgah which is considered as the resting place of Husrath Sheikh Fariduddin Baba, a Sufi saint, believed to have come to Kerala from Afghanistan around 800 years ago. Ganjusakkar, which is a sweet dish offered at this place. Uroos festival is also celebrated at this sacred place in the month of April.
